Who needs a Swimming Pool Barrier Safety Inspection?

​

 - Any party who is planning on renting or leasing a property with a pool or spa, must have a successful inspection done.

 

 - Any party who is selling a property with a swimming pool or spa must have an inspection done, it can be sold as non-compliant.

​

 - Any party who has a swimming pool or spa at their property and wishes for a current compliance assessment to be carried out.

​

What do we inspect?

​

 - Pool fencing gaps, height and structure.

 - Gate latching mechanisms, operation and function

 - CPR signage

 - Non-climbable zones

 - Access to pool area

How long does the inspection take?

​

Most inspections take between 30-45 minutes to complete.  If compliant, a certificate can be issued the same day.

If issues arise for non-compliance, a detailed report with photos and explanations shall be sent the same day.
